Description:
The smaller pictures with the measurements from my scanner represents the actual colors, the larger picture was taken outside to give you a an idea of all the scenes. This fabric features advertising pictures and wording from old Union Pacific advertising ads. There are scenes of a women on a ski chair with a mountain behind her and the Chicago & Northwestern herald over her head: laborers loading fruit in baskets near a palm tree; to the left of the palm tree is an advertising square that shows 4 pictures and says "Two Scenic Highways through the Northwest, Be Specific Ship Union Pacific"; a placard showing a water fall that says Multnomah Falls - Columbia River under it; A scene with mountains and a valley ; an advertising placard with California Calls You on it with a woman sitting on a hill with mountains and a valley in the distance; a scene of a musher with his sled dog team in front of a building with a totem near by with a small sign that says "The Pacific Northwest And Alaska" and a river with a ship on it and a glacier and mountians in the distance; there is a steam locomotive the the top left of that scene; to the left of the steam locomotive is a mountain scene with mountains in the background, a pine tree, lower mountains and grass with a trail through it, trees & a river showing a cabin, tall pine tress, a canoe, boats and a couple walking along a path from the cabin; to the left of the tall pine trees is a circle showing a man fly fishing and in the upper left part of the circle are the words "Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Summer Outings"; to the left of the circle is an engine that's supposed to represent a Missouri Pacific diesel engine I think, below the mountain scene & engine are a cowboy on a bucking horse, an advertising placard for the Summer 1931 with "Through Daily Service Between Chicago-Duluth, Winnepeg, Jasper National Park, Vancouver, Summer 1931, Chicago & North Western, Canadian National" printed on it; a UP diesel engine and a UP herald under the placard; to the lower left of the horse is a carved stone arch with palm trees and bushes in front of those. The fabric is 44 inches wide, including selvages. The repeat down the fabric is 23 3/4 inches. Price is per half yard, and you are ordering by the half yard, but in one cut.
